For my March goal in the Lovely Year of Finishes Challenge, I would like to finish this quilt that I have been working on.
This means that I need to trim all of these remaining HSTs.
This means I still need to trim all of these down to 4.5" square.
And then I can add those trimmed HSTs to this pile of HSTs and finish piecing the top. It's a good thing I have retreat coming up to help me finish this quilt. I'm going to need some good sewing time ahead of me.

Gonna be a beauty.:)
ReplyDeleteIt will look amazing, but I don't envy you having to trim all those HST's!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks fab! I like the pattern but, as above, don't envy all that trimming! :)
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is looking really great! Hope you make lots of progress on it at your retreat.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you can give yourself a little kick in the behind. The quilt is going to be a real beaut. I've just started working on a HST quilt myself. Only just ironed the fabric and about to cut my squares. Soon I'll be needing the kick to trim HSTs, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great project. Thanks for sharing about the lovely year of finishes too. I hadn't seen that before but what great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! HST's are so fun and offer so many great design options. Have fun at your retreat!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great pattern for your lovely HST's!
ReplyDeleteNice HSTs! A quilt retreat sounds fantastic, hope it is loads of fun and very productive!
